In his role as an OCIO Services Consultant at LPL Financial, John supports One2One Wealth Strategies as the Chief Investment Officer, where he provides economic insights and deep experience in the development of One2One’s investment philosophy and strategy. He works closely with the firm’s advisors to structure tailored investment strategies that align with clients’ financial goals and risk tolerance.

John consults with One2One Wealth Strategies Investment Committees and designs multi-asset portfolios that align with clients’ objectives. John takes pride in his pivotal role in supporting the firm with professional guidance on investment strategies and market insights. He and his team conduct in-depth research, monitor market trends, and assess risk factors to develop investment recommendations in all types of market conditions.

Before joining LPL Financial’s OCIO Services group, John was a Senior Consultant with Mariner Advisor Network. He was responsible for managing the firm’s Portfolio Consulting team and OCIO offering. John began his career as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. He has also had roles as a product manager, and strategist at the Principal Financial Group as well as a financial consultant at Charles Schwab.

John earned his MBA with concentrations in finance and international business from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater. He is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

As an Analyst within LPL’s OCIO Services, John is responsible for supporting One2One Wealth Strategies with developing and implementing investment strategies for their clients. John works closely with the firm’s advisors to structure tailored investment strategies that align with clients’ financial goals and risk tolerance.

Before joining LPL Financials OCIO Services Group, John was part of the Independent Portfolio Management and Consulting team at Mariner Advisor Network, where he consulted on model portfolio construction, trading, and investment research for independent advisors and their clients. Prior to this, he worked on the institutional trading desk at CAPTRUST, where he traded institutional client portfolios for endowments, charitable giving, religious services, and 401(k) plans. He also has expertise in investment operations and portfolio management from his time working at SECU and Meridian Financial. 

John earned his B.S in Business Administration from William Peace University.
