Jeremy is a national managing director at Mariner and leads the firm’s independent portfolio management and consulting team

Prior to joining Mariner, Jeremy established and managed a natural resource hedge fund, Stowe Partners LLC. Additionally, he has published two indices, launched two exchange-traded funds and developed the Quantitative Allocation Methodology™ for the design and management of investment portfolios.

Jeremy resides in Sacramento, California. Away from the office, he loves to spend time with family as well as hit the slopes.

Tim is a managing consultant of independent portfolio management and consulting at Mariner. His team-centered approach to his role is aimed at boosting productivity and delivering the highest level of service to advisors and their clients. His goal is to consistently refine and improve the investing experience.

Tim has spent nearly three decades in the financial services industry, including serving as an investment officer with two public pension funds. His history with portfolio management and trading and project management across industrial channels further deepens his breadth of expertise.

Tim’s interests include playing basketball, fishing with his brothers and spending time with his family and Labrador retriever.

Chris is a senior consultant of independent portfolio management and consulting at Mariner. As a member of the portfolio consulting team, Chris offers trading and investment support to advisors. A key administrative resource, he is responsible for entering trades as well as general portfolio administration. Additionally, he specializes in providing trade reconciliation and research support to the team.

Prior to joining Mariner, Chris spent nine years at State Street Bank, where he worked on the money market and fixe income team. While there, he managed a group of analysts responsible for valuing more than 180 funds daily.

Chris lives in the Sacramento, California, area. He enjoys watching any Bay Area sporting event and is an avid San Francisco Giants, Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers fan.

John is a senior consultant of independent portfolio management and consulting at Mariner. In this role, he leads a consulting team to support independent advisors in creating model portfolios and investment strategies.

Over the course of his career at Mariner, John has taken on key roles within the firm’s research and consulting teams, contributing to the growth and success of its advisory services. Before joining the firm, he worked at Charles Schwab as a financial consultant partner and was a product manager at Principal Financial Group.

John currently resides in Cameron Park, California. When he is not reading up on investments or foiling the mischievous plans of his two cats, he enjoys going to the beach, weightlifting and playing ice hockey.

Aderemi is a consultant of independent portfolio management and consulting at Mariner. He is responsible for designing model portfolios, developing investment strategies and supporting their implementation—delivering a high-quality investment management experience to advisors and their clients.

Prior to joining Mariner, Aderemi was an investment management associate at a global wealth management firm, where he collaborated with financial advisors managing portfolios for institutions, high-net-worth families, endowments and foundations. Earlier in his career, he worked for an Australia-based market research firm, providing economic insights on commodities, goods and services to C-suite executives.

Aderemi is a CFA charterholder and an active member of CFA Society Houston, demonstrating a strong commitment to ethics and professional excellence in the investment management industry. He also serves as a FINRA arbitrator, helping to resolve securities-related disputes and uphold investor protection.

Before beginning his career in financial services, Aderemi was a certified emergency medical technician (EMT), earning his certification through fieldwork with American Medical Response and the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
