Larry was born and raised on Long Island, New York. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from the Crane School of Music at Potsdam State University in 1985. After graduating, he moved to Arizona to pursue a Master of Music degree in Saxophone Performance at Arizona State University. In 2003, he earned his Principals Certificate in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.

Larry spent 17 years as an instrumental music teacher and 13 years as a school principal before retiring from education in 2016. He subsequently worked in the wine industry for several years before joining One2One as Director of Operations in 2019.

Larry and his wife, Sherri, are avid concertgoers who enjoy traveling, visiting family and friends, exploring Arizona, and staying active through hiking and exercise. One of Larry’s favorite quotations is from Helen Keller: “A well-educated mind will always have more questions than answers.”

Larry remains active in the local music scene, performing with several jazz, classic rock, and funk bands throughout the Valley. He also officiated high school basketball for 35 seasons, as well as junior college and NCAA for many of those years. He currently serves as a state evaluator for the Arizona Interscholastic Association.
